The Grateful Dead / Hells Angels "friendship" is historic, and it dates back to the early Prankster days. Over the years, The Dead and Garcia played several performances for parties hosted by the most well-known motorcycle club of all time.
This poster for a 1970 Dead Concert at the Anderson Theater in Greenwich Village is one of the most desirable pieces of historic art from the association of those two larger-than-life entities.
This was a Hell's Angels event and also included a set by New Riders of the Purple Sage. What a beautiful addition to the heavy Grateful Dead historian's collection!
