This is a historic Led Zeppelin issue that has never appeared in our auction until now! The beautiful issue was created for one of two shows that took place at the Wembley Empire Pool in Wembley Park as a part of their 11-date UK tour that commenced immediately following the release of Zeppelin IV. These two shows, dubbed "Electric Magic Shows," turned into five-hour-long multi-act events, which, along with other musical performances, included a variety of vaudeville circus acts. These posters, which are now highly sought-after collectibles, were sold for 30p at the shows. This is a heavily pirated poster, and to come across an original is a truly special occurrence!
Also of note is the fact that this image features some of the first inclusions of the Led Zeppelin symbols that accompanied each band member: the "zoso" symbol for Jimmy Page, the three circles for John Bonham, the circled three interlocking ovals for John Paul Jones, and the circled feather for Robert Plant. These symbols were introduced with the Zeppelin IV album.
