The Monterey Pop Festival was Jimi Hendrix’ coming out party on his home soil after successful breakout in the UK. The festival welcomed in the “Summer of Love” and also featured the first US performance by The Who and a breakout set by Janis! One of the most beautiful important and desirable posters of the entire era.
Measures 12 ¼” x 21 ¼” and the only flaw is a faint 1/4 “ lower left hand corner bump. There are no nicks cuts pinholes creases or restoration. If you want to literally hold history in your hands this piece is for you!
