This RARE, blacklight screenprint was created for Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention playing the opening Night of the Legendary Thee Image Club in Miami Beach! The show occurred on March 15th, 1968.
1968 was the year the Mothers released their third and fourth studio albums, We're Only in It for the Money and Cruising with Ruben & the Jets. It was an amazing time in the band's history.
Material from the Thee Image club is extremely sought after by collectors, and this is the FIRST POSTER from the venue due to the show being on their opening night! Due to a very low print run, we have only ever offered one other example of this poster in our auction, which sold for $2,040 in October 2022!
