The Cafe Au Go Go club in Greenwich Village has a long history throughout the 1960s, ranging from Lenny Bruce in 1964 through an endless array of well-known and popular musicians appearing there up until late 1970. The club also happened to be the first New York City concert venue to host the Grateful Dead. This poster was created for that run of shows, which ran from June 1st to June 10th, 1967. This is an incredibly rare piece that rarely shows up at public auction. This is the first example to appear in our auction!
