This is an incredibly rare, early Grateful Dead issue that has never appeared in our auction before! Prior to signing with Warner Bros. Records, The Grateful Dead was briefly associated with a small Bay Area-based record label called Scorpio Records. They released one single for the label in 1966, which was "Stealin'/Don't Ease Me In". This was the promotional poster issued for the release. Scorpio Records dissolved shortly after, having discovered that there was another local label with the same name. The following year, the Dead took off with their first album on Warner Bros., and the rest is history! The survival rate for these posters is likely minuscule. You may never find another example!
