This cardboard vintage 1967 Jefferson Airplane concert poster features the same iconic image of the band that appeared on the cover of their second album, "Surrealistic Pillow", which would quickly catapult The Airplane into international stardom. It advertises the band's appearance at the New Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, West Virginia, on December 8th, 1967. Surrealistic Pillow was titled by Jerry Garcia, who was a "shadow producer" of the album, and credited in the liner notes as Spiritual Advisor. The album contained the band's biggest hits White Rabbit and Somebody to Love, which would become the official anthem of 1967's Summer of Love.
