1968 FD-122 Iron Butterfly Velvet Underground Avalon Ballroom Poster Near Mint 89

This original poster for an Iron Butterfly run of shows at the Avalon with The Velvet Underground in support is one of the most frequently requested posters from the Family Dog series. It is interesting that the Velvet Underground was not the headliner. We imagine that, at the time, Iron Butterfly was considered more of a draw. This show was just a week before the release of the band's best-selling album, In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, which contained a 17-minute version of the title song.
