1968- Blue Meanies – PAE Almost Near Mint 79

This is a virtually unknown Beatles yellow submarine poster. It is difficult to determine if this is a commercial piece or was produced for promotional purposes although we believe that it is a commercially produced poster. The piece contains classic Yellow Submarine imagery and focuses on the Blue Meanies from the film.This original printing measures 21” x 28 15/16”. There is a horizontal crease in the middle of the poster that extends 15 1/2” from the left side as well as some moderate creasing on the right edge. The right edge has several small nicks the left edge has two small nicks and the bottom edge has a ¼“ tear. There is a ½” tear in the middle of the poster on the top of the “B” in Blue Meanies and on the back there are four tape pulls at the top and tape stains on the top and bottom.Although the list of imperfections looks long this piece is really a rare find and would make a great addition to any Beatles collector’s wall.*****This poster is available for inspection at our gallery by appointment. *****
