This poster was produced for Ramon Ramon and the Four Daddyos and Uranium Savages appearing at Austin's Soap Creek Saloon on Halloween night 1975. The artwork on this original poster was produced by the Uranium Savages' original frontman since 1974, Kerry Awn, as well as Jim Franklin. Franklin was an underground cartoonist and poster designer for the Vulcan Gas Company and, of course, the legendary Armadillo World Headquarters. The Soap Creek Saloon was a small venue in Austin that attracted many of the local hippies and cowboys to the music scene there, which was already a hot spot due to other area venues like Armadillo World Headquarters. Often, some of the same artists would design posters for both venues.
