This poster announced Nils Lofgren appearing at the University of Lancaster in Lancashire, England on May 9th, 1977. Lofgren is well known for his work with his band Grin as well as Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Crazy Horse, and more. He had embarked on a successful solo career just a few years prior to this event. The show was opened by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers who had only formed the year prior when they had released their self-titled first LP. They would go on to have a lengthy successful career, creating some of the greatest rock songs of all time.
