Buddy Morrow was a talented jazz trombonist who was active for nearly 80 years, though especially prominent during the swing era. Morrow first gained attention in the late 1930s and '40s playing with prominent big bands, including those led by Artie Shaw, Tommy Dorsey, and Jimmy Dorsey. This cardboard issue from 1958 advertised Morrow and His Great RCA Victor Dance Orchestra appearing at Terrytown Arena on March 7th. Original cardboard posters are super popular and remain one of the most highly sought-after types of concert memorabilia ever known, and this one remains in shockingly good condition for a 65+ year old paper advertisement! We've never seen another example!
