The Lawrence Welk Show was a long-running American musical variety television program known for its wholesome, nostalgic entertainment and old-fashioned charm. Hosted by bandleader and accordionist Lawrence Welk, the show began as a local program in Los Angeles in 1951 before being picked up nationally by ABC in 1955. It aired until 1982, making it one of the longest-running musical shows in TV history. This cardboard poster announced a number of performers from the show in 1963, appearing at The Mary Sawyer Auditorium in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Performers included Jo Ann Castle, Dick Dale, Norman Bailey, and more.
Condition: Folded in half, tape, tape pulls, creasing, toning, surface wear and edgewear.
