The Ahmad Jamal Trio was one of the most elegant and influential small groups in jazz history, known for its subtlety, spaciousness, and dynamic control. This cardboard poster announced their appearance at The Penthouse in Seattle for a run of shows in March 1965. These hows were recorded and released on his "Emerald City Nights" album, which was just released in 2023! Also advertised on the poster were The Mastersounds and Joe Williams, also appearing that Spring at the venue. Original cardboard posters are super popular and remain one of the most highly sought-after types of concert memorabilia ever known, and this poster remains in MINT condition after 60 years!
