This vintage handbill features the legendary jazz clarinetist, Benny Goodman, also known as the "King of Swing". His virtuosic clarinet playing and innovative approach to jazz helped define the sound of the Swing Era. This handbill announced Goodman's appearance at Basin Street East in New York City on November 5th, 1959. It remains in NEAR MINT condition more than 65 years later!
