This vintage postcard from a legendary Boston Club, The Hi Hat, announced a slew of jazz shows in October 1952, which included legends Stan Getz and Dizzy Gillespie. Jazz trumpet virtuoso Dizzy Gillespie was gifted with a combination of musicianship, showmanship, and wit that made him a leader in what Charlie Parker had just recently developed as bebop music. Stan Getz was a masterful American tenor saxophonist and a key figure in cool jazz. This card is postmarked and addressed on the reverse.
