This cardboard poster was produced for the Glenn Miller Band performing at Dunn's Pavilion in Ontario, Canada, on August 18th, 1958. Miller disappeared in a plane-related incident in 1944 and was never seen again. However, following the release of the 1953 biopic The Glenn Miller Story, his band reformed and began to play again under Miller's name. They have continued to perform under various directions even now. When the advertised event occurred, the Glenn Miller Band was directed by Ray McKinley, who had played drums for Miller in years past.
