Amos Milburn was a popular singer and pianist in the 1940s and 1950s, who influenced sophisticated jazz arrangements into boogie-woogie R&B. He wrote a collection of high-energy, upbeat tunes about drinking for which he became well known. This cardboard poster announced his appearance at The Sunset Ballroom in Indianapolis. Original cardboard posters are super popular and remain one of the most highly sought-after types of concert memorabilia ever known. We've never auctioned another example of this poster before!
