This is the FIRST time this Grande Ballroom issue is appearing in our auction! The design by Gary Grimshaw was produced for MC5, Landeers, Henchmen, and more playing at The Grande in March 1967. The recent passing of the MC5's founding member and lead guitarist Wayne Kramer was a great loss to the world of rock music. MC5 started their music career in Michigan and developed a reputation for energetic and polemical live performances. They were a mainstay at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit. Their 1969 debut album, Kick Out the Jams, landed them in the history books. Their importance cannot be overstated.
