1969 - Haight Ashbury Festival - PAE Graded - MINT 97!

This unusual later period Wes Wilson Poster announced the Haight Ashbury Festival in May of 1969. The central image of ghostlike crucified man is curious and haunting. The event featured Country Joe and the Fish was held in the Panhandle of Golden Gate Park. The panhandle was the setting for many earlier Haight free concerts. The poster measures 13 1/4” x 18 5/8 inches. This poster is featured in the “Art of Rock “ Plate # 2.243 and is poster is in amazing “Mint” condition and is signed in Silver ink by the artist. There are no nicks cuts tears pinholes or restoration of any kind. Just an 1/8” upper right corner bump. Museum quality poster.
