This original first-printing Jimi Hendrix poster has everything going for it: Scarcity, Desirability, Beautiful eye-catching artwork by Brad Cantwell, the most legendary performer of ALL legendary performers, and its connection to a legendary performance! On May 1st, 1970 Jimi played at the Milwaukee Auditorium. Oz was in support. Jimi's band was Billy Cox on bass and Mitch Mitchell on drums. It was only the 3rd show at the beginning of "The Cry of Love" tour, and the band was on fire. Although we have come across the handbills and posters from the show the following night in Madison a few times, this is the FIRST example of this POSTER we have ever auctioned! According to our records, this original pre-concert first-printing poster has only surfaced in public auctions a few times in the past 15 years. We may not see this one again for a long time, so don’t miss this opportunity!
