The band initially featured former Airplane members like Grace Slick and Marty Balin, helping maintain a strong connection to their earlier work, though the lineup changed several times eventually morphing into Starship in the mid-1980s, known for glossy pop-rock hits like “We Built This City” and “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.” This RARE poster announced Jefferson Starship at the Honolulu International Center Arena on September 7th, 1975.
