During the 1960s, Bobby Blue Bland became one of the great storytellers of R&B, gospel blues and soul music. After his number 1 hit Further On Up The Road made waves, his songs charted regularly through the 1960s. Bland would eventually be inducted in both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Blues Hall of Fame. This original cardboard poster announced his appearance at the Chicago Auditorium Theatre in 1981 with Clarence Carter and Little Johnny Taylor.
