This poster announced the great Alice Coltrane appearing at Keystone Korner in San Francisco in July 1975. Though often introduced as the wife and collaborator of jazz icon John Coltrane, Alice Coltrane forged a singular and deeply influential musical path of her own, blending avant-garde jazz, classical Indian music, spiritual devotion, and cosmic soundscapes. Keystone Korner was a jazz club in San Francisco from 1969 until 1983. Countless jazz legends appeared on its stage including  Miles Davis, McCoy Tyner, Bill Evans, Sonny Rollins, and Stan Getz.
