Texas native Roger Kynard, "Roky" Erickson was a founding member of The 13th Floor Elevators and a pioneer of the psychedelic rock genre. The group was a major innovator of '60s Rock & the San Francisco Sound, and their influence has been far-reaching. They were the first band to use the term "psychedelic rock" to describe their sound. This SIGNED handbill announced the band appearing at Doris Miller Auditorium in Austin, Texas on January 7th, 1967.
