This original poster was produced for The Ronettes appearing at the Student Union Dance Hall at Essex University in Colchester, England on February 22nd, 1973. The group initially broke up in the late 1960s, however in 1972 Ronnie Spector separated from her husband Phil and made an attempt to revive her career so she decided to reform the Ronettes. Nedra Talley had no interest in returning to the group, and Estelle Bennett was unable to perform due to mental illness so Ronnie replaced them with Chip Fields and Denise Edwards. They performed some "Ronettes reunion" shows and recorded some songs for Buddah Records in 1973 but an album never surfaced. By 1975, Ronnie had abandoned the idea of continuing the Ronettes and she began her solo career.
