This is an original 1974 tour blank poster featuring the cover art for Van the man's treasured 1974 album "Veedon Fleece". In late '74 and much of 1975, Morrison was touring to support the record. Stylistically it has been compared to the Astral Weeks record with the same "stream of consciousness" lyrics, but musically it is more Celtic acoustic and heavily influenced by Morrison's northern Irish roots. Soon after this album, he began a 3 year hiatus from recording new material.
Van Morrison's illustrious career started with the 1960s garage rock band "Them". From there he created one of the most prolific and long running solo careers of any of the 1960s performers. Morrison is known for his unique blend of blue-eyed soul jazz and R&B and has created some of the music world's finest hits along the way.
