This rare poster issue promoted a string of shows at The Boston Tea Party in May 1970 featuring John Hammond, along with Seals and Croft in support. Hammond had a strong fan base and his guitar playing earned respect from legends like John Lee Hooker, Duane Allman, Rory Gallagher, Robbie Robertson, Mike Bloomfield and Charlie Musselwhite, all of whom contributed their musical talents to his records. In addition, he was the only person who ever had both Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix in his band at the same time! The historic Boston Tea Party venue was located at 53 East Berkeley Street in the South End from 1967-1969 before moving to its new location at 15 Lansdowne Street. Material from the Boston Tea Party is ALWAYS coveted by collectors and music fans alike!
