This rare poster announced a jazz supergroup featuring Milt Buckner, T. Bone Walker, and Jo Jones appearing at La Cafeteria in Paris, France, on May 18th, 1969. The group consisted of pianist/organist Milt Buckner, guitarist T. Bone Walker, and drummer Jo Jones. Buckner was known for playing in the bands of Cab Calloway and Lionel Hampton and for his role in popularizing the Hammond organ in the 1950s. T. Bone Walker was a pioneering blues guitarist involved in the creation of the jump blues, West Coast blues, and electric blues styles. Jo Jones played with the Count Basie Orchestra from 1934-1948 and had a great influence on the next generation of jazz drummers. This is an AMAZING relic that is unlikely to be made available again anytime soon!
