The New Fillmore concert poster series was initiated in 1988 when legendary promoter Bill Graham started producing events again at the historic original Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco. Though there was a hiatus between 1989 and 1994 due to the building being damaged in an earthquake, the poster series has continued since the Fillmore’s reopening. There are now well over 1000 issues in the series, representing hundreds of artists and musicians while showcasing world-class artwork. This one announced Matchbox Twenty in June 2000.
