The Psychedelic shop a venture of Ron and Jay Thelin was a popular gathering place and central distribution point for hippie posters ephemera and paraphernalia. This poster was Rick Griffin's first commission when he arrived to San Francisco from Southern California you can identify this design as the turning point where Grffin's style transformed from Surf Art to Psychedelia.
