This 1967 Official Warner Brothers Records promo poster for The Grateful Dead was produced around the time of the release of their debut album. This promo on heavy board stock paper was sent to record stores and retailers for advertising, not to be sold to the general public. Distribution of these early promotional posters was extremely limited, since they were primarily manufactured to promote LP's in record stores. The expense of the window card stock likely limited the number of copies of this promo.
