This MINT condition issue was produced for Bonnie Raitt appearing at Brown University on April 29th, 1978 with support from NRBQ and Rizzz. Raitt is widely considered to be one of the greatest singers and songwriters of all time. Her commercial breakthrough had come just the year before this event with the release of her sixth studio album, "Sweet Forgiveness", featuring a cover of the song "Runaway" that became a hit single.
American rock band NRBQ was originally formed in 1965. Though they never necessarily achieved mainstream success, their music has been praised by many of the greats. They released their well-loved album "At Yankee Stadium" the year this show occurred. Several years later in 1986, NRBQ's bassist Joey Spampinato was invited by Keith Richards to join a backing band for Chuck Berry for the the documentary Hail! Hail! Rock 'n' Roll as a replacement for the Rolling Stones' bassist, Bill Wyman. Bonnie Raitt was a big fan of NRBQ, working with various members over the years and occasionally covering their songs.
