This original handbill was designed by Neon Park for an unbelievable pair of shows at the Shrine produced by Pinnacle Productions in 1968. It features Paul Butterfield, Sly and the Family Stone, and THE VELVET UNDERGROUND! It should be noted that the band "The Rockets" were also listed as performers. The LA-based band would go on to change their name to "Crazy Horse" and team up with Neil Young shortly after this show. This bill is just as exciting as some of the shows that Bill Graham put together at the time.

One of the coolest-looking concert images of 1968 - with bright bold colors and face-melting lettering. Neon Park did some great concert advertisement work in both Northern and Southern California during the sixties as well as some famous album covers in the ‘70s. Pinnacle Productions founders Marc Chase, Sepp Donahower and John Van Hamersveld produced some of the most powerful and electrifying concerts in the history of Rock music at the Shrine Auditorium in the late ’60s.
