This rare, original poster advertised blues legend Muddy Waters and Luther "Georgia Boy" Johnson playing at the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago on March 14th, 1970. They also appeared at The Hull House the following night. The Chess records mainstay Muddy Waters was responsible for bringing American roots music to rock star status. Many of the musicians of the era were devotees of the Blues and were heavily influenced by this American treasure. This is the FIRST example of this rare Blues poster we have ever auctioned!
