It brings us joy to offer this super rare, Original Printing Grateful Dead poster in our auction. This is a very cool and highly sought after poster designed by artist Daniel Clyne for a Grateful Dead show in 1970, which ended up being canceled. The large size and super thin paper guaranteed that very few exist today in ANY condition. When the underground comix scene made its way to Chicago, artist Daniel Clyne was making graphic contributions to Jay Lynch and Skip Williamson's underground comix series "Bijou Funnies". He also designed several concert posters promoting shows at the Aragon Ballroom, including this popular Grateful Dead piece. This poster is featured in The Art of Rock and has been eagerly bid on during the small handful of times it has appeared in any public auction over the past 15 years. It could be a very long time before we see another one of these pass through our doors. A great opportunity for the advanced Grateful Dead collector!

Condition Details: Faded, paper loss, pinholes, handling left edge.
