Here we have a scarce and beautiful original handbill from 1968 This hunted, early Grateful Dead relic was designed by artist Rebecca Galdeano and was produced for the Autumn Equinox Festival held at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in San Diego California on September 22nd 1968. The festival featured performances by the Dead, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Taj Mahal and several other groups of the era! We have only seen this early festival issue appear in public auctions a small handfull of times over the years. The most recent example we've auctioned was in 2019 for $900.00 and it was in lesser quality condition.
