Folk Hero, Grandfather of Grunge, Mercurial, Eccentric, Elusive, Irascible, Passionate, Rock and Roll iconoclast…. Neil Young has never been an artist that could be easily defined. He has switched gears so many times throughout his career that it's miraculous that HIS transmission hasn't blown out like his one-time 1948 Buick Roadmaster hearse... One thing, however, has remained consistently inconsistent with Young over the years: his relationship with Crazy Horse. Neil and the Horse's aim is to blow the roof off of music venues with their blend of high distortion, feedback-deranged ROCK AND ROLL.
Neil began his collaboration with Crazy Horse in 1969 with the release of the album “Everybody Knows This is Nowhere.” Guitarist Danny Whitten, Bassist Ralph Molino, and Drummer Billy Talbot joined Neil in creating the Crazy Horse legacy. The story turned dark after Whitten's overdose in 1972. Neil’s poignant “Tonight’s The Night” album pays homage to the troubled guitarist. This show is a stop on the first-ever Crazy Horse Tour, where Neil brought in producer Jack Nitzsche to play keyboards.
Posters from the Boston Tea Party are hunted enthusiastically. All the day's top acts passed through this famed venue at some point. The posters are printed on a variety of different paper types being on card stock. The poster exhibits paper loss along the hard horizontal crease in the center and tack holes in the corners. There is masking tape in the corners on the back.
Condition: Creasing, folded in half, paper loss, pinholes, toning, staining.
