Ray Charles’ legacy is celebrated across the globe as one of the most important musicians of our time. His version of "Georgia on My Mind" was proclaimed the state song of Georgia. This first printing, historic cardboard poster promotes a show he performed at Burruss Hall, Virginia Tech in Blacksburg Virginia on October 12th, 1962. The Raelettes (who sang backing vocals for Ray during this era) were also in the show and featured on the poster (spelled as "Raelets"). This is a very rare, early Ray Charles poster that will likely never surface again. Original cardboard posters are super popular and remain one of the most highly sought after type of concert memorabilia ever known.
