This original cardboard poster was for a 1971 Jethro Tull concert (early & late show) held at Painter's Mill during early April and according to reports, the 2nd show never happend because Ian Anderson's voice was shot after the first performance. The artwork was produced by Alan Rose, who went on to work with National Lampoon and create album artwork for bands including It's A Beautiful Day. Tree Frog Productions was a grassroots promotion company that staged concerts at Painters Mill Music Fair, a small theater in Owings Mills Maryland, a suburb north of Baltimore. The posters were printed in small quantities and are next to impossible to find in any condition. An amazing original poster that will likely not appear again in our auction anytime soon!
Condition: Toning, creasing, handling.
