This stunning copy of the Amazing Electric Wonders poster has been graded 9.6 by CGC, making it the highest-graded copy in the CGC census. The poster dates from November 1967 and was the first in a series of events staged by Pinnacle Productions. The show featured two nights of high-energy performances by the Grateful Dead, Buffalo Springfield, and Blue Cheer.

Pinnacle Production was a fledgling promotion company founded by Marc Chase and Sepp Donahower that would present the Psychedelic sounds of the day to large Los Angeles audiences. The Company hosted dozens of shows over the next year or so at the Shrine Exposition Hall, which had a capacity of 5000, which was ⅓ larger than the Fillmore West. The concerts would feature cutting-edge production and host all the best bands of the day.

The poster's illustration was created by John Van Hamerveld, the art director for Pinnacle who made several powerful posters. His image for the February 1968 Jimi Hendrix show at The Shrine (AOR-3.72) is as lasting as any from the era. Additionally, Van Hamersveld’s Endless Summer poster is one of the most enduring poster images ever created. He also illustrated the Album Cover Art for the Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour and The Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street.

Posters for the Pinnacle were printed in small quantities. 500 -1000 copies and the posters were printed on soft pulpy paper that tends to damage easily. The survival rate of this poster is minuscule compared to the Fillmore posters at the time. The poster rarely comes up for sale. The only other graded copy to have been auctioned was a CGC 8.5.

The concert itself was seen as a Battle of the Band per se. San Francisco Vs. LA and the Dead and Buffalo Springfield would alternate as Headliners. Heavy Metal/ Punk innovators Blue Cheer band kicked off the shows and injured eardrums.
