This poster is from the Dead's 1974 summer tour a few months before they took a hiatus from playing concerts for a year or so to pursue solo projects and get some rest.  The show was fantastic with an exploratory jamming-segue of songs late in the second set: “Weather Report Suite-Space-Wharf Rat-US Blues”. This poster also exhibits the same band-member’s faces image from the inside liner-notes of the 1974 “From The Mars Hotel” Studio Album Release!

Ultra rarity. Never before offered CARDBOARD poster. For the advanced Dead collector it doesn't get any more rare than this! The first EVER auction appearance of this CARDBOARD poster. 100% Original with no restoration and extensive wear and tear. Obviously "put up" to promote the show. There are literally hundreds of serious Dead concert collectors out there. Only ONE will have this poster in their collection. A special opportunity that may never present itself again!

A similiar one-of-a-kind 1970 Grateful Dead poster from Drexel University realized $4600 in our June Mega Sale. It will be interesting to see the value the market attaches to this unique offering which is in rougher condition.
