The late great Wes Wilson designed this anti-war march original poster in 1966. The march took place on November 15th starting at Golden Gate Ark and ending at the Polo Grounds in San Francisco. The text across the top is a quote from Isaiah 2:4 in the Bible, “And he shall judge among the nations and shall rebuke many people … and they shall beat their swords into plow shares and their spears into pruning hooks”. This San Francisco demonstration was perhaps overshadowed by the major anti-war protest that happened in Washington on the same day which attracted an estimated 250,000 war protesters.
