Here we have an uncommon and rather scarce Allman Brothers original flyer from the Erie Raceway in Boulder Colorado on May 26th 1971. The location changed its name to Mile High Raceway after the promotional material was printed. This is the first example of this rare issue we have ever auctioned. The Allman Brothers Band were on the bill for this event along with Delaney & Bonnie & Friends, The Youngbloods and Big Brother. This show took place just a few months before the death of the Allman Brothers Band's leader, the legendary Duane Allman. The band would hit the studio the following year to record their renowned album Eat A Peach. This lot is a great piece of Allman's history! Very little material from the early years of the Allman brothers still exists today. ABB flyers featuring the late great Duane Allman are highly desirable and especially targeted by collectors.
Condition: Creases, edge nicks, large tear top edge, paper loss and punctures, pinholes, residue.
