This One-of-a-kind, Original Performance Contract is from a recently discovered collection of promotional material centered around a one-time event held in Philadelphia in 1971. The collection includes original promotional materials once belonging to promoter William Kelly, the organizer of "Blues Bag One," a charity event for disadvantaged youth.
The Allman Brothers headlined this once-in-a-lifetime blues jam, which also featured legendary bluesman Mississippi Fred McDowell. A 22-year-old Bonnie Raitt (who learned to play slide guitar from McDowell) opened the concert.
