This incredibly rare issue from January 1974 promoted Iggy & The Stooges and The Tubes appearing at Bimbo's 365 Club in San Francisco. The Stooges had released their third album, "Raw Power", the year prior. The album was not immediately a commercial success but went on to gain a cult following and continue to pave the way for the punk rock explosion to come. Interestingly, the band actually disbanded the month after the shows advertised here. Leader Iggy Pop went on to have a successful and storied solo career, and The Stooges reunited briefly in the 2000s, but this would have been one of their final shows of the band's initial run.
The Tubes first big hit from their debut record "White Punks on Dope" was an anthem of wretched excess and ridiculed the Hollywood kids of the rich and famous in LA. The band remained a powerful force in the rock music world of the late seventies as well as through the eighties.
Condition: staple holes and staple pulls.
