1967-Better Living Thru Chemistry Poster-PAE Graded Very Fine 63

If you want a true piece of 1960's San Francisco history here it is!

This is a famous satirical poster which stole DuPont’s slogan “Better Living Through Chemistry ” and turned it into a pro LSD campaign. It features a photo of stoned hippies giving the slogan a psychedelic spin and was a jab at the ad put out by the large pro-war corporation. This was a classic head shop poster! It would've been available at the psychedelic shop and it’s currently on display at the DeYoung Museum exhibit “The Summer of Love Experience”. As popular as this poster was at the time it is extremely difficult to find a copy in any condition today.

Condition Details – There are 3 tack holes in top right corner one in top left corner 3 on top edge. A single tack hole in the bottom center a 10 1/2” razor slice which is taped from behind a series of edge creases and light tears on the right and left side and some handling.
