1972/1986 Rick Griffin Grateful Dead Blue Cheer Shrine Psychedelic Solution Commemorative Printing BLACK INK PROOF Poster Near Mint 83

This is a unique Black Ink printing of the 1986 produced Psychedelic Solutions version of this poster. The PS credit in the bottom left margin has been omitted on this black ink variant, however the paper size and the layout of the RG plate autograph in the bottom right corner matches the one from the 1986 PS printings. This lot came from a close collector of Griffin material from his estate. 

Artist Rick Griffin created this design in 1972, several years after the original Shrine Grateful Dead performance in 1968. Years later in 1986, Psychedelic Solutions reprinted this image. There are also pirates of this image in circulation without the wide black border, among other differences. 

Condition: edgewear.
