The show on May 8th 1977 at Cornell University is well regarded by deadheads as one of the best if not the greatest Dead show of all time. We at PAE couldn’t agree more. The “Scarlet-Fire” is legendary with Jerry’s vocals in perfect form along with every member of the band playing beautifully in unison. The epic “Saint Stephen” through “Morning Dew” is probably the loveliest 30+ minutes of musical joy every recorded to tape. (Yes we're biased) So it goes without saying how important the poster to this show is.
To commemorate the specialness of this concert The Dead released a special 40th anniversary set of this show in 2017. This was very well received and leaves many thousands of Dead fans that would have an interest in this poster.
This issue has an interesting auction history. Our records track just 8 appearances in the past 10 years. Of those SIX were restored pieces. This issue has appeared only two other times in 100% original conditon with no restoration realizing $5203.00 and $5377.00.
