This poster for a Jefferson Airplane run of shows at the Kaleidoscope in spring 1968 is the second of two pre-concert versions done for this event. The first design exhibited Buffalo Springfield on the poster in support. The second design (like this one here) removed Buffalo Springfield as they were unable to perform. The band Fever Tree would fill the spot. The shows took place at this storied Los Angeles venue that showcased the best bands of the 60s. The shows were presented "in the round" and all of Kaleidoscope’s posters were created to be round in design. Kaleidoscope posters are super popular with collectors due to their unusual round design that mimics the round stage at the venue.
